Hiya!
I am Dušan. I've been around design for more than ten years. But other than that, I love technology, nerding out, binging the shows, playing an occasional game or two and discovering new skills in kitchen.
I decide to provide my services as freelance designer to help out with multiple interesting projects. Currently I am leading design for a major German health insurance company on their digital platforms.
Additionally I am providing consultations for multiple companies in Czech and Slovak market regarding usability and design.
I was organizing an internal design team consisting of three designers and a dedicted researcher. We covered internal support system and tools crucial for maintaing services for our customers. I was also providing design support for major travel B2B platform used by all different kinds of users from small bloggers to biggest airports. Making the partners as well as internal users happy to work with Kiwi.com.
I was driving the transition of enterprise-level security application from desktop based client to the modern HTML interface built on SolarWinds design system to which I also contributed. I had a privilege of working with amazing team of skilled and passionate designers from all across the globe.
My background in IT helps me to gain a good understanding of technical possibilities and limitations. This allows me to create functional products and communicate well with the team.
I am often involved in multiple projects and always looking for new interesting ones. Is it a charitable project or an application for herd management? I am probably in.
I believe that good design is a strong foundation of every good product. That is why I like to be included in the development process from the beginning to end. From planning to evaluation.
Products work best when all interested parties collaborate on the usability and usefulness of the product. From shareholders to users. Good discussions, research and critique are crucial to success.
While business goals and technical solutions are important parts of the product design, every product needs users to be useful. Which is why I think products should be created to solve problems of their users.
Smooth collaboration is based on good communication and communication is amazing when it is meaningful. I strive to remove unimportant messages by delivering high quality deliverables with consistency.
